Tucson Botanical Gardens— What started as a local Tucson family home with a nursery run from the backyard, has grown into a important piece of Tucson’s history and community. The garden was founded in 1964, and ever since has continue to grow. The gardens expand 5.5 acres and contains 17 different gardens. Each garden reflects the unique plant life of the desert, and also, non native plants that has adapted to desert survival. While the Tucson Botanical Gardens continues to create new and exciting gardens and exhibits, it still remains rich with history and culture. The original home and water tank from 1920 still stands on the property to this day. Your guests will get to be a part of this important landmark in Tucson, while also learning about the hundreds of unique plants.

Butterfly Magic—This seasonal event begins in October and runs through May. Your guests will enter a Butterfly Sanctuary that is right inside the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Butterflies from around the world, freely fly throughout the exhibit, and allow guests to get an up-close and personal experience.

This tour is approximately 2 hours and is inclusive of round trip transportation, admissions where applicable, bottled water on board, and a JW Marriott Starr Pass Destination Services Guide throughout. This tour is not recommended during rain.
